The rest of the pics

We had some professional pictures taken while back home, and she gave us the entire disk to bring home...yay! The session turned out great and I'm super happy with how the pics turned out. Here's a few.

Well hello,

It's been a while. Sorry about that.

This post is just a picture, so don't get your hopes up. I'll be back to update what we've been up to the last month, but for now, it's just a picture.

Things making me

smile.....

This little boys imagination grows every day!

Ambrose ensured that the birds would not go hungry today by throwing his ramen noodles onto the lawn.
I've switched up the bedtime routine a bit, and what used be a semi relaxed end to the day has now turned into complete chaos with the addition of Bram.

I've been running a lot with the boys ( me running, them riding), and while they're troopers for a majority, we have a deal that I'll run my last mile around the track so that they can play on the football field. It's adorable to watch, and it makes running around the track a little more bearable. However, minutes after this pic was taken I had to interrupt my run to help Ambrose untangle his head and Bram untangle his feet from the soccer net.

This sweet boy smiles more times than I can count,

sigh....

Of course this would happen this week. Shortly after I took the pic the tire pressure light also came on.

We are in the awkward smile phase here.

This boy will not allow me to feed him anything. If he's going to eat it, it must be skewered with his fork and shoveled into his mouth on his own accord. No exceptions.

Another picture post

Ambrose really only has one pose for pictures, and that's the silly face. Somehow I managed to get Bram in a fluke silly face moment and then I'm the one that looks ridiculous.

Bram is constantly watching Ambrose and copying any movement or sound he makes. It's amazing how quickly Bram picked up on how to sputter airplane and car sounds,  and flail is arms making flight patterns with his airplanes.
The gluten free diet is doing this little boy some good. He's gaining weight like nobodies business and we are thrilled!!
I never tire of these smiles.

A few of the goings on around here...

1. Bram plays peek-a-boo all the time now, and it's adorable!
 2. This is all germ-a-phobe  John shining through here. In public bathrooms John builds a "nest" out of toilette paper for Ambrose to sit on*insert eye roll*, and one day I walked into the bathroom in our home to Ambrose "building a nest like dad!"
 3) Ambrose now tells me the bed time stories before he goes to bed, they're super cute and give me a peek into what he thinks about all day!
 4) These two play together more and more every day, and it warms my heart!
 5) Bram busted his face open on an outdoor umbrella stand. We contemplated an ER visit, but after a text to our doctor friend, he recommended just staying home and dealing with a scar later on.
 6) I'm still waiting for this kid to outgrow the car seat hatred. When the "strong willed child" books were written, they were written about Bram. Will of steel this kid!
 7) The afternoons/evenings around here seem to drag on and on, and so to pass the time, we try and find at least one outdoor activity.

Happy 4th

Our hero was gone for the 4th, so we celebrated on our own with a carnival on the 3rd, and watching a parade together with friends on the 4th. Here are a few pics of our fun couple days!

This sweet boy waved his flag the entire parade!

Ambrose loved watching the decorated cars/floats going by and he left with plenty of candy in his red bucket.
still waving his flag
Our adorable friends Peyton an Chloe joined us watching the parade!

We also went to a great carnival and had a blast. Ambrose and Bram were both able to play a couple games and ride a couple rides.
